This workshop aims at timely addressing the challenges in advanced depth acquisition techniques, processing and analyzing depth data, and solving novel and challenging real tasks. The workshop will bring together researchers from multiple subfields to discuss the major research problems and opportunities of the emerging depth camera revolution.
The intended participants of this workshop are on the one hand researchers in pattern recognition and computer vision who work in the field of depth data processing and analysis. On the other hand, researchers with 3D vision applications are welcome to explore the potential of applying depth sensing techniques to solve challenging application problems.
The workshop is endorsed by IAPR and supported by IAPR TC-19.
